Lawsuits and Legal Issues

Victims of mattress and upholstery fires rarely are aware of their ability to hold the manufacturers responsible for the damage and horrendous injuries.

Only a few attorneys in this nation know about the viability of recovery from these fires, and even fewer are able to successfully maintain these contentious suits against this multi-billion dollar industry.

Recovery is often threatened by the unwitting destruction of evidence after the fire by fire personnel.  This evidence can only be recovered within three days of the fire.

You may contact, via email, the Children's Coalition regarding flammability law practitioners.

Further, by May1, 2000, the Children's Coalition will establish a burn survivor evidence trust to help preserve the remains of the mattress or upholstered furniture for potential future use.
